Originally from Chautauqua County, NY, Megan attended college in Maine and then worked various jobs, including farm-worker, baker, and as a nature educator at an Audubon center. Megan came to St. Lawrence County in 2004 and, with her husband Dan, operates "Kent Family Growers," an organic vegetable farm. Working at the Co-op is one of Megan's favorite things. She loves meeting and working with all the cool people who are attracted to the Co-op. The staff, member-owners, and shoppers are all friendly and interesting. It's always a pleasant and enriching experience to come back to work. When not on duty at the Co-op, Megan enjoys long-distance running, growing flowers for her cut-flower business, music, drawing, and spending time with her three kids. Megan's favorite Co-op products are the kombuchas (especially the Blood Orange on tap and Reed's Hibiscus Ginger Grapefruit). She also can't do without a chia seed and flax meal combo, or the curried cashews.
