Adirondack Fragrance Farm was started in 1979

My love of herbs and essential oils, working creatively and with my hands lead me to create my products

Everything is very low tech for our manufacturing processes. The items I grow or wildcraft which are used in some of my products are on a small scale and very enjoyable

To me, local is if it’s from NY state… I’m Happy! If it’s from within 30 miles from my home all the better.

The creativity required of me is what I enjoy the most about what I do

All businesses have their ups and downs so the challenge is to be willing to show up every day with a clear mind and a commitment to thrive.

The Co-op… is such a wonderfully vibrant community of individuals who work hard every day to create a special place in the lives of all who are involved. It feels good to contribute to the Co-op community effort by being a vendor and being able to interact with the customers who buy my products.

My customers are often my greatest source of new ideas and inspirations for new products

In the future, I’m interested in passing my business on to the next generation when the right person or people come along!

When people say they hate to go to work for this reason or that I’m always grateful that I own my own business

I always look forward to what the day may bring and figuring out how I can best bring forth heartfelt things that are of value to my community
