September is here and so are new products and monthly sales at the Co-op!

We have some new mushroom products from Malama Mushrooms, located in Kona, Hawaii. They are a family-owned business whose mission is to share the health & wellness benefits of superfood mushrooms with the world. ‘Malama’ is the Hawaiian word for protect, preserve, and nurture. 

We’re currently stocking Lion’s Mane Cacao Mix, Reishi Cacao Mix, a Fung-tional (see what they did there?) 8 Mushroom Extract Mix and yes – a Superfood Mushroom Chocolate! All 4 items are on sale for 20% now through the end of September.

Mason Dixie produces scratch made buttermilk biscuits using simple ingredients that you can pronounce, just like you would in your own kitchen. Because they are sold out of the freezer, they are preservative-free and stay fresh until you are ready to bake them! You won’t be disappointed by these flaky & buttery biscuits and you’ll feel good about supporting a company that cares about the customer and not just profits.

Head & Heal is a New York company operating out of Cortland, NY and one of the first legal hemp farms in the state. In addition to growing organic veggies, they grow, harvest, and bottle organic CBD, as well as CBG & CBN (other cannabinoids of the hemp plant). They also have topicals and a pet line. We’re big fans at the Co-op. You’ll often see us sporting their hats and/or t-shirts, and some of us use their products daily, so we’re super knowledgeable about their products if you ever have questions.
