Mandatory Mask Policy to be Reinstated Monday, August 9th

To All Member-Owners, Customers and Visitors,
As of Monday, August 9th, the Potsdam Co-op will reinstate its mask requirements. All shoppers, volunteers, staff members and visitors will be required to wear a mask at all times when they are in the store.
We’ve made this decision to protect our most vulnerable as we are seeing COVID case numbers rise right here in our community. When we removed our masking requirements the managers all agreed that we would reinstate the requirement once we hit a certain number of active COVID cases in Potsdam. This happened in less than a week.
We wanted to make sure we were hearing the wants and needs of our member-owners and shoppers before making any decisions. After many comments from the community we sent out a survey about our masking policy. The results overwhelmingly indicated that our community feels safer wearing masks with over 67% responding in favor of masking at the Co-op.

We appreciate your support and understanding as we navigate this ever changing situation. If you are not able to wear a mask in the store we are happy to accommodate you with our curbside service. You can submit a curbside order online at https://potsdamcoop.com/curbside/, via telephone or at the door.
Cooperatively,
The Potsdam Food Co-op Board & Staff
