In the spring of 2021, New York State announced the recipients of the DRI (Downtown Revitalization Initiative) funding. The Potsdam Food Co-op made the cut and since then, our Board of Directors has been hard at work planning the biggest move in our Co-op’s history!

With the help of the Cooperative Development Institute, we prepared a survey to gather feedback from the community (Potsdam and surrounding areas) to determine how we can improve shopping experiences at the Co-op. The survey will ask for some basic demographics, current shopping habits, and expectations from a new and improved store; Which departments are lacking? What would you prioritize? If you’re a member, what benefits do you find most valuable? Your answers will help us shape the future of the Co-op, as we move forward with our relocation and expansion project.
